WHAT IS THE GROUND PLAN OF BOOK?

A ground plan of a book is like a blueprint to a building.
The more perfect we design the blueprint; the construction of the building will be the better.
Likewise, the knowledge of ground plan of a book aids for better understanding, reading and clearing the concepts regarding the content of book.
The ground plan is the method of arrangement of the data in the book.

WHAT IS ITS IMPORTANCE TO LEARN?

The book organon of medicine is the greatest work on “LAW OF SIMILIA” and its practical application in the therapeutic field written by our master Dr. Hahnemann.
So, before we go through the study of aphorisms, it is advisable to get an idea about the structure, anatomy, or the ground plan of organon.

Let’s proceed through the construction of 6^th edition of organon of medicine.

THE CONSTRUCTION

The aphorisms can be divided into two parts:

INTRODUCTION PART
ORGANON PROPER

1. INTRODUCTION PART

The First edition did not contain lengthy introduction which was modified into a lengthy introduction part from the 2^nd edition onward.
In this part, Hahnemann determined that homoeopathy is the only curative method of treatment, while allopathy is nothing but the palliative treatment.

Effects of different therapeutic methods of treatment of his time.
Allopathy was the useless, harmful, palliative and crude method of treatment.
Some accidental homoeopathic cures by different physicians in the history.

This division of organon of medicine deals with the thorough explanation on homoeopathy with its practical application.
